Planning a Big Trip to Australia

For many people it is a lifelong dream to travel to the other side of the world and see the sights and attractions of Australia. This type of holiday does not come cheap, especially if you are flying all the way from the UK, therefore it is always a good idea to make sure you plan things before you go, to really make the most out of the trip.

First, of course, you need to consider the city you wish to fly to. Most of the time this will be Sydney, but bear in mind that you can also arrive in other airports, such as Perth and Melbourne for example. You should also do your best to venture off and experience other states and cities.

Then comes the accommodation in Australia, will this be in one location or are you out to explore far more of the country? Australian hotels become very expensive in the cities, therefore you should try to book in advance for the chance of some slightly better deals.

There are also some iconic attractions that you may wish to include on your must see list: Uluru Rock has to rank at the top of this one.

To be honest, one of the best ideas for a tour of this massive country is to arrange a visit to each coast. There is a massive difference between Perth and Sydney, for example, and as there are regular and relatively affordable flights between both cities, you really do not have any excuse not to see them both.
