French Accommodation Choices

There are very few other countries in the world that can offer you such a wide choice of accommodation, for a holiday, than France. From chateaux to gites and Luxury Villas in France, the world is your oyster and no two holidays to this diverse country need ever be the same.

If the idea of a chateau grabs you, there are literally hundreds of them open to the public across the entire country. This would make for the ultimate romantic break, in an absolute fairytale setting, and may prove to be the best place to get down on one knee and pose that question. The Loire Valley is possibly one of the best parts of France to enjoy a chateau holiday and the choice in this region is vast.

Then you have that little known word - gite. People that have little clue on anything Francophile may not have heard of this type of property, but it is basically a charming and quintessentially French cottage. Think rustic, quaint and cosy and you may have an idea of what you can expect from staying in such a delightful property.

You also have luxury villas situated all over the country and this is your ultimate chance to live in the lap of luxury - like the celebrities - even if it is only for a couple of week. Always furnished lavishly and with all the facilities you could ever need, villas in Aquitaine, Languedoc Roussillon and Provence Cote D’Azur are always exceptionally popular.

Last, but by no means least, you may opt to stay in a more traditional hotel. There are a myriad properties to choose from in France: from basic bed and breakfast properties, to amazingly opulent, out-of-this-world hotels which you would never want to leave.
